We are a friendly Ofsted registered Pre-School aiming to provide a caring environment where children can learn to interact with other children and adults on what might be their first venture away from home.
Stimulating play activities help them learn to make friends, taking turns, sharing and negotiating, enabling them to develop to their full potential.
We feel that when children are relaxed, safe, valued and having fun it builds their confidence and develops independence making them happier to learn and of course paving the way for their move to school.
You'll find us in Carries Hall, in Rush Green Road, Romford next to the YMCA, It is a large spacious area allowing the children plenty of room to explore the variety of activities available to them. The toilets are connected to the main hall so children will never be out of the staff sight. We also have sole use of a secure outdoor area for large physical activities and for spending time outside for planting, exercising and experiencing the changeable weather of England!

Service offered at Phoenix
The Pre-School is open 38 weeks a year, term time only, in conjunction with the local primary schools

We are open five days a week Monday to Friday

We offer Sessional day care between: 9.15am to 11.45am and 12.15pm to 2.45pm

We provide care and education for young children between the ages of 2 to 5yrs including free early years education sessions available for all 4 yr olds and to children from the term after their 3rd birthday.

Our Ofsted registration is displayed on our notice board and our inspection reports will be available to view on request.

Pre-school learning Alliance (PSLA)
We are also members of the PSLA, who are a charity set up dedicated to supporting the work of pre-schools, through training courses, quality assurance systems, local visiting by skilled advisers and a range of helpful publications.
